About the School
Our Campus and Our People Our school opened in 1954 was named after Daniel Webster, a famous American statesman by the boys and girls during those first years. He was born in New Hampshire in 1782 while the Revolutionary War was still being fought, and died before the Civil War began. The multipurpose room is called “Daniel’s Den,” in honor of him. In the past, our school newspaper was called “The Statesman,” the yearbook was called, “The Senator,” and the leadership class was called “The Senate.” We are proud to have our school named after such a great man and a fine American, and we take pride in making our school the best. The faculty at Daniel Webster Middle School is very diverse. Our 61 certificated staff members have an average of 20 years of experience teaching at the middle school level. 19 hold Masters degrees, four hold Doctorate degrees, and several are National Board Certified. Our faculty members have earned a number of special awards and honors, and are members of different professional associations and programs: National Board Certified Teacher |
